== Johnson Beharry == Johnson, born in Grenada in the Caribbean in 1979 to an Afro-Indian family, later moved to the UK at age 19. Despite starting out as a small-time drug dealer, he had a turning point and joined the Princess of Wales Regiment at age 21. His act of heroism took place in 2005 while serving in Iraq. During a brutal ambush, Johnson chose to drive his Warrior armored vehicle over a mine to save his platoon, risking his own life. Under heavy fire and with the vehicle on fire, he rescued all crew members''',''' first carrying his unconscious commander and gunner through flames, then saving four more soldiers from the back of the vehicle. He saved a total of 27 comrades that day. Just six weeks later, he was severely injured in another ambush, surviving a grenade blast to the head despite only a 1% chance of survival. Today, Johnson dedicates himself to charity work and youth education, aiming to inspire others with his story of transformation and resilience.<ref>I wouldn’t say I am lucky… Interview with Johnson Beharry, VC – The Best You Magazine</ref>
